(2016 Schedule in progress. Keep checking back!)
Friday, Oct 7
Meet us in town for a bit of grub at one of the many great places. Mediterranean? Check. Mexican? Check. English Pub? Check. Pizza and Burgers? Check. Italian? Check. Beer? Quadruple check.
Williamsport offers up First Friday this year too with vendors and artists all around downtown.
Camping opens at Riverfront Park, Friday PM – grab your spot – park in the lot and walk in to camp.
Saturday, Oct 8
We’re racing baby! All three distances launch from town during the day on Saturday. Awards and prize drawings will take place late in the day as we celebrate with the final finishers. After we wrap up awards we’ll head on over to the Pajama Factory, a fun gathering spot, for some evening activities in partnership with some friends and a killer recap of the day made possible by Firespire Photography and Dirtwire.tv. More giveaways in the evening too. Once that wraps up…well, Williamsport is still open with plenty to do! Final schedule details are in the works and we’ll have them for you soon.
Sunday, Oct 9
We’ll chill out on Sunday and show you a whole lot more of what makes Williamsport a great place to visit if you’re into riding gravel. We head north with the Susquehanna Valley Velo Club to explore.
These free rides (a donation to support SVVC and the Montoursville Interscholastic Cycling Team isn’t mandatory, but sure would be appreciated) exploring just a wee bit of the thousands of miles of gravel roads in northern PA are not to be missed. Low key and beautiful rides will be a great way to wind down from any of the Iron Cross distances the day before and will be a great way to spend a few hours with a bunch of friends.
