Some answers to your questions.

Where are we riding?

– We have a pretty wide range of group rides on offer for the weekend from 100 mile adventures to family rides to women’s rides to an overnighter and a lot in between. We’ll also have maps of some of our favorites for you to enjoy at your leisure solo or in your own group. Please see the ride descriptions page for more information on the rides.
– NOTE: All rides and maps depart from and return to the Millheim Community Park
– If you are interested in the overnight option please be sure to register for it on BikeReg in addition to the weekend registration. There is no additional cost, just head count.

Is there anywhere to sleep around here besides in my car?


— Camp with us on site at the GGG headquarters at the Millheim Community Park just one hundred yards from everything you need for the weekend. Cold showers and warm smiles await you here. NOTE: no alcohol is allowed in the community park.
— Poe Valley State Park is a camping option on the other side of the ridge from Millheim and is about a 25 minute drive from Millheim

RV options

— There is room for several RVs at the Millheim Community Park. These are primitive sites without hookups. Please contact us for more information. State Parks offer RV campsites with hook up options – Poe Valley State Park is your closest option.
— Other RV parks in the area include:
B&B Options
— Several B&Bs are in operation in Millheim, Coburn, Aaronsburg and other communities in the Valley.


— The closest hotels to Millheim are in State College and Milroy, either is about a 35-40 minute drive from the venue. See for hotel and other lodging information in the region.

Where do I get Beer and Food? And yes, those are in order of importance.

— Elk Creek Cafe and Aleworks offers a delicious assortment of both. Personally I can’t wait to eat several meals a day there because every time I go I can’t wait to get back again. Look for a special open tap of Elk Creek offerings available during the weekend.
— Inglebean Coffee House is on Millheim’s main street just a few doors down from Elk Creek and serves up delicious coffee and lighter meals.

Who is coming and can I have some free swag?

Vendors, Partners and Contributors include: Freeze Thaw Cycles, Salsa, Q-Outdoor, Vargo Outdoor, Endura, Dirty Kanza and more. These folks have contributed over $1000 worth of prizes we’ll be passing out during the weekend for various feats of strength such as our scavenger hunt and other non-races.

What else do you have for me to do besides all that incredible riding?

Bands, movies, instructional clinics on gravel riding and overnight excursions – there is more than just riding going on here.
